The underground Concourse at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. is a spacious and fluid - an absolutely lovely addition as well as a complete pleasure to move through. I, in fact, moved through it a few times in the span of one late afternoon.

I love that hallway in the national gallery. It's spectacular.
And I think we could put together a whole book about subterranean DC. There's a whole other city underground here!
Reya,
I could easily imagine a whole boog about subterra DC and in fact, if I lived there, I would gladly devote a few years of research to writing it.
I am an avid follower of your blog. As an Autumn soul I am particularly reveling in your thoughts and perceptions of this season.
Perhaps I can live vicariously through some of your posts if you might ever post a bit on subterranean DC!
i would have loved to spend more time in that tunnel...just to watch the lights sequence..pretty awesome show.
Tom,
I agree. It's a great show! I travelled back and forth in that underground concourse a few times just for the light show in that tunnel!
